Fuel Keynote & Expo - A New BMA Chicago Event
Get ready to accelerate your thinking with Fuel – a new event from BMA Chicago, featuring an evening keynote, high-tech expo for marketers, cocktails and networking.
New marketing technology seems to be sprouting up every day – from augmented reality to marketing automation to big data solutions and beyond. It can be hard to keep up with all of the new technology, let alone figure out how to incorporate it into your own business.
Join us at City Winery on May 14th for a keynote from "digital wizard," Harper Reed (@harper), former CTO of the Obama campaign and Chicago-based, Threadless. Harper will share with attendees how to use technology to enhance business performance, foster organizational creativity and galvanize communities and teams. Then, peruse the booths at the high-tech expo where you will be able to experience some of the latest trends in marketing technology. All of this while networking with some of the top names in B-to-B marketing in Chicago.

ABOUT HARPER REED
Hailed as a "digital wizard" and a pioneer of the tech universe, Harper Reed is an engineer who builds paradigm-shifting technology and leads others to do the same.
He served as CTO of Threadless.com and as a consultant to various other startups before he was hired by the Obama Campaign, where, as Chief Technology Officer, he lead a "dream team" of engineers from companies like Facebook, Google, and Twitter.
Harper was the man responsible for engineering what is widely viewed as the most sophisticated technological effort in the history of politics.
From 2005 to 2009, Harper was the CTO of Chicago-based clothing company Threadless.com, one of the first successful crowdsourcing companies, and helped increase revenue tenfold during that period. From 2009 to 2012 Reed consulted for companies like Rackspace, an innovative cloud-based website host, and Sandbox Industries, a forward-thinking venture capital company which funds hundreds of tech projects in their early stages and then launches the best few. Harper has also developed a number of community based apps in Chicago, where he lives.
