Young Professionals Membership (30 and under)

Young professionals within the BMA represent the future and vitality of the organization.  For these leaders of tomorrow, the BMA's Young Professional Network offers a valuable peer-to-peer learning and networking experience that equally benefits the marketers and their employers.  We also have fun, and we give back through philanthropic partnerships at each event.

YP Events 

BMA Young Professionals are dedicated to giving back to the Chicago community.

 

At the 10/20 event, the BMA YP Group donated over $120 to Graffiti Zone, a local non-profit arts program serving kids in the Humbolt Park neighborhood.  "It was really epic to have young peeps who care," says Jody Cooley, Executive Director.

 

At the 12/8 event in conjunction with the 2011 Acronym Bash, the BMA YP Group donated over $700 and four huge bags of toys to the Chicago Children's Hospital.

 

At the 2/9 event, the BMA YP Group raised almost $400 for Streetwise.

 

Be A Rising Star 

BMA Chicago is honoring young talent through its new Rising Star award.  Managers and supervisors can nominate members of their teams who demonstrated the Best Contribution in Business-to-Business Marketing.  Representatives from all marketing disciplines--Creative, Media, Strategy, Results and Analysis--are encouraged to submit nominations.  Dates will be announced soon.
