Sima is a veteran marketer with more than 20 years of experience working for both high tech start-ups and mature enterprises alike. In 2008 Sima founded her own consulting practice, Parlay Communications, to help professional service firms, B2B companies and their staffs understand how social media can be used to build a brand, increase visibility, generate referrals, and drive sales. Through her keynotes, corporate coaching and sales training Sima has helped hundreds or business owners, marketers, and rainmakers build a strong personal brand, embrace social media, and learn the art of intentional social networking. Her client roster includes Jones Lang LaSalle, Mesirow Financial, Oribtz, ADP, PepsiCo, United Airlines, USG, Society of Financial Services Professionals, GATX, United Benefit Advisors, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.

 

Sima is the co-author of two anthologies and her first solo project, "Sway Factor™: How to Unleash the Law of Attraction on LinkedIn and other Social Networks,” will be published this year. She is the co-founder of MarketMyCareer.com; teaches personal branding at DePaul University; delivers corporate training for Lake Forest Graduate School of Management; and is a bylined columnist for Marketing News and Social Media Marketing magazines.
