Larry Zar is president of ZAR Marketing, a full-service strategic marketing and advertising communications firm with over 30 years experience in business-to business advertising, specializing in the graphic arts industry. Pairs Web and interactive strategies with traditional advertising, collateral and tradeshow marketing/support to develop and implement strategic marketing plans for his clients. Zar, who holds a B.S. in Journalism from Southern Illinois University, joined BMA/Chicago in 1995. He was chosen New Member of the Year for 1995-1996 and Member of the Year in 2001 when he was BMA’s Executive Vice President. A board member since 1997, he was honored with a Proud Award in 2006 and was named Board Member of the year in 2006-2007. He serves on the Programs committee and is supporting the FUEL - Technology with exposition and logistics management.
