Young Professionals: Unwind and Get Social

BMA is committed to assisting your efforts to provide education and networking (so important to professional growth)

The Young Professionals committee is off to a great start in growing an important segment of the BMA – the 30 and under group!!   There are several exciting events coming up so get involved and attend the events to keep the momentum going.
 
The kick-off event this year is on March 10th at the popular Old Town Social from 4:00 – 7:00 pm. Attendees will begin the evening in small conversation groups led by the following “seasoned” BMA Board Members/members to discuss a topic near and dear to everyone – effective networking.

·         Jason Ferrara - VP Marketing at Ifbyphone, current BMA Chicago Board Member and Chair of the Young Professionals Committee
·         Suzanne Martin - Head of Worldwide Field Marketing, Networks Business at Motorola Solutions, former President BMA Chicago, current BMA Chicago Board Member
·         Linda McGovern - Director of Marketing at USG, current BMA Chicago Board Member
·         George Rafeedie - Founder at Tell Your Story Marketing/Adjunct Professor at DePaul, current BMA Chicago Board Member, Chair of Membership Committee and  Chair of the Social Media Committee 
·         Don Scheibenreif - Research VP at Gartner Industry Advisory Services, current BMA Chicago Board Member

After a lively discussion, attendees will then have the opportunity to mingle, get to know one another and build their network.
 
Beer, wine and appetizers are included.
 
Future Young Professional events include a Social Media Workshop on April 6 following the BMA Marketing Innovators Luncheon Seminar and a Networking Happy Hour on April 21 (location TBD).
