Gordon Kane is the Founder of Victory Sports Marketing. He combines the discipline and structure of brand management with over 20 years of sports marketing experience with world class sponsors and Properties.

His background includes an MBA in marketing from Kellogg (Northwestern), undergraduate in sociology at Miami University, sales management at P&G and brand management at Kraft.

He is the only person in the United States who has held leadership positions at the United States Olympic Committee (Director of Marketing and sponsorship), a US Bid City (Director of Marketing, Chicago 2016), A US Host City (Vice President of OPUS, Salt Lake City) and consulted for a USOC sponsor (Deloitte). His primary focus is in helping companies evaluate and leverage Olympic sponsorship opportunities.

Outside of Olympic work he has developed targeted measurable sports marketing plans for companies such as Gillette, Sprint, and Umbro to help them leverage major investments in sponsorships. In addition, he has worked directly for Properties such as The Indianapolis Motor Speedway, The National Football League, The ATP Tour and Manchester United.

He has been a frequent contributing writer to Sports Business Journal magazine, and Sportbusiness International. He has made presentations for the annual Kellogg Marketing Conference, Sports Summit (New York), IEG (Chicago), SportAccord (Madrid), the Chicago American Marketing Association and the Business Marketing Association. He joined the Board of BMA Chicago in 2012-2013 and is President-elect for the Chicago Area Runners Association. He has completed 14 marathons all less under 4 hours since 2000 (including qualifying and running in 3 Boston Marathons) and his English Premier League Fantasy Team is considerably above average.
