Judging from the feedback we’ve received on our inaugural BMA Chicago Day, there will be many more to come!
Held on Thursday, Oct. 1, the daylong event got off to a rousing start when Steve Liguori wowed the crowd at
The Standard Club with a riveting presentation on
GE’s “Gold Standard” marketing strategy at the October MarketingMasters Luncheon Seminar. A full report on his talk is in the current issue of the BMAIL. To read
BtoB magazine’s report, go

After the luncheon,
Google treated attendees to a tour of the Chicago Googleplex on Kinzie, which included a presentation on “Networking in a Digital Age” by consultant
Sima Dahl. Capping off the day was golf and more networking at
The Green at Grant Park.
The second in a series of Breakfast Roundtables on social media will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 21, at
IIT’s Stuart School of Business. This month’s Roundtable will feature
Mike Volpe, vice president of inbound marketing at
Hubspot, who will talk about harnessing the likes of LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter from a B2B perspective.
In the third in the series on Nov. 18,
Ray Villares, principal and vice president of digital services at
Symmetri Marketing Group, will explore how to leverage integrated marketing to optimize social CRM investments. The final session will feature
John Byrne, editor in chief at
BusinessWeek.com, who will explain how deep engagement measures have helped develop BusinessWeek.com into an online community.
Just as a reminder, you can still sign up for the three remaining Roundtables in the social media series for only $50 on our
Web site.
