Give Your Career a Course Correction

IMC SeminarBMA/Chicago will be hosting its annual two-day Integrated Marketing Communications Seminar April 25 and 26 from 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. at DePaul University's Kellstadt Marketing Center. Go here to download a complete brochure on the seminar.

This award-winning seminar is a great refresher for the seasoned marketing professional. It provides you with strategies and techniques for successful b-to-b marketing communications. The seminar is organized into about 10 sessions ranging from integrating interactive into your marketing plan to understanding the legal and ethical considerations of advertising to creating successful public relations campaigns.

All of the sessions are presented by some of the best marketing minds from the most prominent marketers and agency executives in Chicago. Among them will be George Stenitzer, vice president of corporate communications at Tellabs, who will talk about “Marketing Communications Planning and Budgeting”; Phil Clement, global chief marketing and communcations officer at Aon Corporation, who will talk about “Measuring Marketing ROI,” and Sean Bisceglia, president of Aquent Marketing Staffing, whose topic will be “Next Generation Marketers.” Other companies represented include Aquent Marketing Staffing, DraftFCB, Edelman, HSR Business to Business, Slack Barshinger, SPSS and Zócalo Group.

This seminar also helps prepare you for the Marketing Skills Certification exam of the Business Marketing Institute. Many marketing managers strive for this certificate because it is one of the oldest and most recognized certification for this profession. For more information on the certification, visit the National BMA Web site or call 800-664-4264.

The cost for the seminar is $325 for BMA members and $425 for nonmembers. In addition to the seminars and the networking opportunities, attendees will receive The Marketing Manager's Handbook by Eric Gagnon. Sign up today because seating is limited.

To register for the seminar, call Margaret Essary, chair of BMA/Chicago's Educational Programs Committee, at 312-334-6951, or Executive Director Paul Lesher at 312-943-8040.
